Tommy’s dad, Robert Waters, founded Waters Construction in 1954. Waters Construction was the predecessor to Tommy Waters Custom Homes and laid the foundation for the high level of craftsmanship and attention to detail that is still a hallmark of every Tommy Waters home over 60 years later.
Born and raised here, Tommy Waters completed his first home at age 17. He participated in his first Gainesville Home Builders’ Parade when he was 19. After learning all of his father’s on-site construction skills, Tommy segued to the planning, development, and customer relation aspects of the business. Tommy slowly took over the Company, later renaming it after himself. He and his wife, Beverly, and their three children, are proud to call Gainesville home.
Tommy’s son, Derek Waters, is the third generation to be actively involved with the family business. He currently supervises all stages of the home construction process to ensure that your Tommy Waters home is the finest quality home currently available.
Tommy’s daughter, Carly Waters, is also a third generation member of TWCH. Carly manages Tommy’s front office and handles items related to bookkeeping, payroll, and scheduling.
